SA-TECH, Inc., has a local office in Yakima , Washington that supports the U.S. Army at Fort Lewis ' Yakima Training Center (YTC). SA- TECH currently employs 30 full time personnel to support the contract requirements. Our facility is located on \the Government installation at the YTC.

The YTC is used primarily as a training area for large scale military maneuvers, particularly those involving heavy wheeled and tracked vehicles (tanks and armored personnel carriers), and for training in the use of large, long range weapons. The Multi-Purpose Range Complex (MPRC) / Multi-Purpose Training Range (MPTR) is utilized by Army, Navy, Marines, Coast Guard, National Guard, and Foreign Military air and land forces in carrying out various training and weapon testing scenarios/activities. Specific NAVAIR support is provided for multiple Navy Air Wings for strafing runs and guided/un-guided munition drops into the impact range located on Fort Lewis .

Under the contract, SA- TECH operates the MPRC/MPTR ranges in accordance with training scenarios provided by the Government. This includes (1) install, maintain, and operate all target devices as dictated by the scenario, (2) place or affix thermalization devices on targets, (3) make berms and excavations sufficient to prevent direct fire damage to target devices, (4) programming the Enhanced Remote Targeting System (ERETS) to activate target devices according to the training scenario and instructions, (5) maintenance of administrative facilities, ground troop assembly areas, and other facilities at YTC, (6) provide logistics support and supply provisioning functions, (7) established a safety program in accordance with MIL-I-45208A, Inspection Systems Requirements in order to ensure personnel and government asset safety and (8) perform quality assurance/quality control efforts related to the operation and maintenance of the MPRC/MPTR Ranges.
